I was given 2 weeks notice to find a new job. My background is in construction, but really I can do anything administrative.

I'm so sorry to hear that Helene...that totally sucks! =(
The only thing I can suggest with the hospital is that you visit the 1199 office on Forest ave. by Brother's pizza and apply with them. They cover all the hospitals on SI. But, you can also apply at the hospital directly...just go to the HR office at 500 Seaview Ave. (across from SIUH North site). I know it's hard to get into the hospital, but it doesn't hurt to try. Good luck...
Oh cool. The administrative positions are all 1199, too? I'm right in the neighborhood so I'll definitely drop in and see if they have anything, or at least leave my resume on file. Thanks Bonnie!
Some of the admin. positions are 1199, but not all...that's why I suggest you apply at both 1199 and the hospitals...cover all grounds!
