Engraving question

Hi Ladies!

I used to post here and got away for awhile from the "addiction".

this is wedding related question, my friend is getting married in a couple weeks and i bought her a server set.I wanted to get it engraved, but I can't remember what you actually write on it!

I assumed the names and date.. but did you write anything on the knife piece or have a cute quote suggestion? As for the names, how did you write it out? Mr and Mrs last name or did you include the first names as well?

Can't seem to find much info online so whatever ideas you have i would appreciate!

Thanks!! :)

Re: Engraving question

  • I dont think there is one "set" engraving rule... Personally, Id engrave their names and date, and if you have a memorable quote for them  - go ahead! My sis engraved a small heart for me for the weeding that had our names and dates and also said " Always live in Paris" to remind us of our engagement! I love that!
  • I agree with prncsstp, there are no set rules.  I personally like the first names and the wedding date or Mr. & Mrs. Last Name and wedding date.
