I thought I would be polite and do an intro post or some such thing, before I jump into too many threads here.
My name is Amanda, and my FI is Chris... our wedding date is 03.31.11 at Seville in Gilbert, and we're both 30yo, no kids, first marriage, only a little crazy, and a lot geeky.
He has lived here for a few years, but travels a lot for work, and I've fairly recently moved into his condo in Chandler, so we don't know a whole lot of people in the area. I'm currently a stay at home mommy to two adorable furbabies, probably until after the wedding. This is part of the reason that I'm on these boards way too much, especially while he's out of town for 3 weeks at a time lately.
So... yeah... that's a bit about me and us, and anything else you are curious about, just ask! I'm friendly enough.

I moved down from Ohio (originally from Minnesota), and he is from New York.
We both have lived all over the place though, as he was in the Navy from the time he was 18 until 3 years ago, and I was in the Army for a short time, and we both like to travel.

What part of NY is your hubby from? We moved here in May 09 from Upstate NY.
I lived in the Columbus area... my parents are there still.
I'm hoping it flies by! We are so ready to be married and start working on other things.
I'm ready to be done planning! We both kind of wanted a really small wedding, like 10 people. Now it's up to 50 or so, and a lot more attention than either of us care for. That's what he gets for feeling guilty about not inviting some people.
Can't wait to meet my baby boy!
