Houlihan's Vent

I took my BFF out to lunch yesterday for her birthday. We were there over an hour and a half and it wasn't even busy! Just super slow service, maybe our waiter was newer or something.

So it came time to pay (my treat of course since it was a bday thing) and I stuck my debit card and a gift card in the little folder thingy. (I had mentioned to him prior that I had a gift card I'd be using)

He brings back the receipt for me to sign, and he had ran through my debit card but did not take off the money for the gift card. Long story short, DH checks our checking account online tonight and it got ran through a total of THREE times! (Twice for the first amount which was incorrect and then once for the correct amount)

So yeah, I'm not happy. Not sure if I should go in there or start with the bank. I am going to try going in there first since it was their error and not the banks. Luckily I kept both receipts because I had a feeling something like this would happen.

That really stinks! I would go there before the bank too. We go there a lot for happy hour and I have a favorite waiter and we usually get him. You can't beat their drink specials and they have tons of long island flavors. Yummmm.

I wonder if we had the same server! I went there with a friend a couple weeks ago and we waited forever and our server was terrible! She was also unprofessional. I still like Houlihan's though because the food, I think, is good.

I agree about their happy hour specials. I've only been there a few times total though and almost every time I have a bad experience. I usually only go there if I have a coupon or a gift card. They do have good food and drinks though. Mrs--we had a guy for a waiter so not the same person. He was good to start but then he got worse and worse as it went on.
