I'm back!

Hey all! I just got back from San Fran, and DH and I had such a good time! We did a few tours, lounged in the hotel, ate at some good restaurants and just saw the sites! Thanks ladies for all the recs!!

Looks like I missed a good time at the Cheesecake Factory!

OMG Vanessa! I got burned there too, and I have no idea how it happened! I mean I guess I should have realized that it's summer, I'm albino and should have used sunscreen...

They are my favorite! We saw them at the Aquarium by the Bay, and it was a huge tank full of them. I watched them for awile!

I know, it's so cool/cold there that you forget about the sun. My face is done peeling and my chest but my arms are just starting to peel and it's been like two weeks. I love Aquarium of the Bay, we didn't go this time but the first time we went it was soo much fun.

 

How was Alcatraz? That is one place I really want to go to but haven't.

How was Alcatraz? That is one place I really want to go to but haven't.

It was really cool! We started out with tour guides, then did the audio tour and then got to pick and choose some extra programs we wanted to do. I don't think most tours do this, but since we did the afterhours night tour (left at 6:20) they do some extra stuff. I would definitely recommend going!

But yeah, you have to get tickets EARLY. We went on Sunday, and they said they were sold out for the week! They said they get 5,000 people a day! Now that's just nuts! Good thing we bought our tickets online a few months ago!

Yeah, we tried to get tickets but nope, sold out for the week. Oh well, I will get there one day, again. Hubs likes that scary stuff and ghost and all that. We did have a ghost while in Portland, so that was cool. But Alcatraz is so cool with all that history. We just went around it when we went on the boat tour.

But, glad you're back and had a great time.
