House Warming Party

We will be closing on our house in a couple of weeks and i wanted to do a house warming party but i have no ideas.

What have you done in ur house warming parties?

Any ideas?

Re: House Warming Party

  • Congrats on the new house!

You don't need to do too much.  When we had ours, I just threw together some dips, veggie trays, and appetizers.  Everyone just came over and mingled and checked out our place.  It was simple and fun...it ended up lasting several hours!

    Anniversary
  • It all depends on how big or small you want to keep the party.

My hubby and I have not had ours yet but have big plans for when we do. We are waiting till our one year anniversary so it can be a double party. We are in the middle of putting in a new kitchen and re doing most of the rooms in our home.

We plan on having an afternoon party that will carry into the night and we are making it a pot luck so we wont have to cook or supply many items.  It's also a great time to get your neighbors to come over to meet your family and friends if that have not all ready.

Good luck and enjoy your new home :-)
