So yesterday TJ got up on his knees for the first time and started rocking back and forth. He had been "swimming"(thats what we called it) for some time, and it was quite a surprise when I turned to look at him and saw him on his knees rocking. He is also waving bye (only if you say bye-bye and wave to him). It boggles my mind how quickly he is doing these things. It makes me happy that hes  growing up so well, but sad that it seems to go by so fast. I miss my little 6lb 13oz newborn sometimes.

Aww.. Yay!  I just saw he is 15lbs!  You guys passed us up real quick, lol.  Poor little A is 9 months and I think is around 13lbs (we go friday for her 9 month visit).  She has been swimming for a long time, but not going up on her knees yet.  She started rolling all over the room 2 weeks ago.. lol.  Now we are really working on her sitting up by herself.  She seems to get better and better at it every day.  Her talking on the other hand has been going on since July 1st.  She says ba ba, ma ma and Ii've heard da da a few times.  She says ba ba a lot when she is hungry, but doesn't call me ma.  She talks a lot when she is tired, ma ma, ba ba stuff.  Is TJ talking yet?

Aww thanks! Yeah he was 15lbs 6.5oz at his 4 1/2 month appointment. He goes for his 6 month appointment next friday(Friday the 13th lol) and I'm guessing he's going to weigh 18-19lbs. He's been in the 50th percentile for height and weight so hes not to big or to small(can I add here that typing this got the Wonder Pets song stuck in my head lol). Hes been talking since 2 days before he turned 6 months old. He says da-da and ba-ba (and blah-blah which DH says he is saying to me already lol). He hasn't said ma-ma yet, but I swear we've heard him say bye-bye and moose(if you have ever watched Nick Jr., he loves Moose A. Moose), but they have never been repeated so I guess they dont count. He doesn't sit up by himself yet, he will for a short time(maybe half a minute) and then fall over because he is too busy trying to get his foot/toes in his mouth or he's too busy fighting me because all he wants to do is jump. I've talked to a few moms who said their baby/babies crawled before they sat up. I'm trying not to push him too much because I know every baby is different and I dont want him to grow up too fast(like I can stop that).

On a side note-13lbs for A is a big difference from when she was born so thats great! She may be little but I bet she's still a handful(meant in a good way of course!!

Aww.. go TJ go!  So cute!  I know, I tell A all the time that she is growing up to fast and to slow down.  I look back at her pics when she was 2lbs and just can't believe she was ever that small.  The funny part is her 6mth pics look like baby pics and now her new 9mth pics (I need to scan and post them) she looks like a toddler.. so sad, it really just is going too fast.  I don't believe in pushing them to do things either, as every baby is different, but I have been saying ma ma to her ever since she came home.. LMAO! and it worked!  hehe.  I hope we can make a GTG soon and one with all the kidos.  It would be fun to get a group pick and then do it again in a 6 mths to a year to see how they all changed.  Are you thinking about another one yet?

Oh and I know you meant that in a good way and she is a handful! lol.  She is of course spoiled, but she is a really good baby.  She never cries and just whines a little when she is tired or really hungry.  Other then that, she is just always smiling.  We got lucky for sure!

Haha, I say mama to him all the time and he replies with "da-da" usually. Its kind of funny but a little frustrating. I can't wait to see her 9 mo pics!! I need to go have TJ's done again(he hasn't had them done since 8 wks I think), but they can be so pricey! I want to go to a GTG so badly but everytime we have one, something comes up or we had plans already or TJ just isn't having a good day. I really want to get to meet you girls!!(Plus I get to see all of your little ones!!) OMG am I baby crazy lately. I dont know if its because a couple girlfriends just had babies or what but my hormones are raging for another one. I've always wanted more than one, but didn't think it would be this bad so soon. Plus with 3 older step-daughters...its a lot. I'm doing my best to try and curb my urges(and remember to take my BC...I'm on the pill because none of the other things I tried-except IUD-worked. I got really sick on most of them). I wish I could do like some of the girls and just quit BC altogether but with how quickly I got pregnant last time I'm kind of afraid to take the chance-plus there are some other things that make me not switch lol. I honeslty think that we will start trying or have another one around the time TJ turns 2. It seems like a good space between them. Are you guys planning on having another one?? There definetly has to be another GTG soon! Even if its on a work day, I have personal/vacation days to spend not to mention sick time!!
