What to do

I have a reservation later in the week at Parson's Table for H's birthday.  His actual birthday is today, but he had some work dinner obligations tonight so it was preventing us from celebrating tonight.  He just emailed me that the people that were coming he was supposed to be taking out are not here yet so he will be home tonight.  I have been thinking about the recent discussion we had about La Campagna and now am wondering if we should go there tonight to celebrate.  I really want to try both, but not sure if we should spend the cash on two birthday dinners....

Re: What to do

  • I'm a BIG fan of eating out and as someone who has wanted to try La Campagna for years and never have, I say DO IT!
  • I would do it. But I love to go out to eat.
  • If you can afford it I'd totally do it. Then you'll have to report back to me on both restaurants :). In case you haven't figured it out yet, DH and I are both big foodies and splurge probably a little too often so I will always vote yes on going to a good restaurant!
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • So this is what happened.  H decided he didn't feel like driving back to Waltham (his office is there) and wanted to stay local.  We went to Cafe Madrid which was okay.  I like Cafe Madrid, but if it were my birthday it would not have been my choice....but it was his and that is where he wanted to go.  Anyways as we were leaving I said "well and then we are trying the place in Winchester on Thursday night."  He says "no...cancel that...we just went out."  Blahh.  I really want to try Parson's Table.  So now I am going to wait until tomorrow and bring it up again.  I want to try either of those places by the end of the week.  Ha ha ha.  I'll see what he says.
  • Aww, what a party pooper :)  I like that you're not giving up though, haha!

Well I love trying new places!  Ha ha ha.  H loves the same places again and again.
