I don't know if my blood pressure is gonna handle the terrible two's. Elise has gotten to be SO bad!! She throws tantrums constantly and it's so embarrassing in public. Just now I told her to quit banging on the doors of our bar cabinet (they have a latch on them so she grabs the handles and slams them open the half an inch they will go and then slams them shut - she's already broken one off doing this) and she told me to "shut up." I guess she's heard me tell Gypsie to shut up when she's barking at the neighbors.
OMG.
Oh and she LOVES time out! She thinks that's the most fun thing you can do.
I'm totally at a loss of what to do. I've started just taking her away from the situation and sitting her down and trying to be soothing, but that gets old every ten minutes!

DH told me to go get a margarita!
Oh my gosh! That's crazy! :
BTW this just encouraged me to kill the baby fever that I've been having.

aww sorry! Of course you know the bad doesn't outweigh the good, not even by a fraction. It has been such an amazing journey watching her grow into her own person, like how right now she absolutely LOVES all things pink, it's her favorite color - to the point that she will only drink out of pink cups!
Oh and today she said her first complete sentence - "I see a ball!!"
THOSE are the moments that make the tantrums forgettable.
