camera question
I'm looking for a new point and shoot, clearly I am a novice. I just want to be able to take pictures quickly with my subject (a kid) moving without ending up with big blurry photos. I really liked the previous version of these cameras that I borrowed once so I'm trying to decide which one to get.
So out of these two, which would you think is better for what I'm looking for?
and what do you do with your old cameras when you're getting rid of them? I have a cannon sd1200is that I do not like and a kodak z1015 that is ok, but not very crisp and too big to carry in my purse daily.

I've never had a Panasonic, only a Sony and a Canon (I prefer Sony). Of those 2 - the only difference is movie capability. If you're just using it to take photos, get the cheaper one. The camera part of each of them is identical.
Does your local waste management system ever have electronics recycling days? That's how I recycle my electronics. Or you can take them to an electronics store. I know Best Buy will recycle any electronics you have.
