CLT ladies--Bike race this weekend!
This weekend is the big Presbyterian Hospital Criterium in downtown Charlotte. Are any of you planning or even interested in seeing what that's all about?? Dh and I are trying to figure out how to make it work for us....but I just LOVE going to it!! Very fun time, for me, at least!!

EA--it's actually a professional bike race--no outside competitions. So we're both left out of this one. Dh and I just go there to watch in awe of the speeds, which on the "slow" end average in the low 20mphs, and on the high end (for the men especially) well, some of the sprints during this past Tour de France got into the low 40s!! If you had wanted to watch, it's no charge, and since its downtown, you could go, watch for a little while, and if you get bored, just leave and do your own thing. Parking may be a little tighter, and some of the main streets will be closed, but it's still relatively "easy" to navigate. (Dh and I pretty much go to CLT every year for this event and this event only and we're still able to get around.)
OrangeFelt--last year I met and had some of the Colavita team members sign a poster for me. They are SUCH nice women!! Tina Pic won last year--I admit, I haven't even looked to see if she's still on the team or not. If they sign autographs again, it'd be neat to say, hey, orange felt says "hi!" (You can PM me your real name if you'd want.)
We were talking about heading out to Charlotte for the day but a whole list of ridiculousness happened haha
I can't wait to hear how it is!
