restaurant recommendation
My best friend recently moved to the Long Beach area... I wanted to get her a gift certificate to a fun, must-see restaurant that may not be totally popular but has a great view, atmosphere, etc. Does anyone have any recommendations?/

I've been to Delius. Nice wine list.
I went to the Sky Room. Very old-timey. Nice views. Food, so so.
the kettle manhattan beach
its pretty close to LB and the best part is its a 24hour!! it has the best atmosphere and artichoke dip & veg raviolli. a night on the pier and dinner is amazing. she'll have tons of fun.
or mel's diner and a movie @ the arclight in hollywood.. its low key and fun.
