Spray Tanning ?

Anyone ever had a spray tan? How did you like the results? Did you get immediate results or have to go back for a few sessions before you got your desired color?

I haven't tried spray tanning before, but would like somewhat of a tan for my bday outing and don't really have time in the next three weeks (or the desire) to lay out in the sun :-)

I'm in Broward, so if you can recommend a place near Pines, that would be great.  TIA!

Re: Spray Tanning ?

  • I wouldn't spray tan....I'm not too into tanning salons but if you have to go...Do a stand up tanning bed like twice and you're good to go. I don't know much about your area but before my wedding I went to a place called Vtan and it was good. I definitely noticed the difference with just going once.

  • Yeah, I've done the stand up tanning beds, but was trying to avoid all that exposure.  Thanks.

  • I disagree...as much as I love tanning in the sun, I don't have time, and I love what a spray tan does for me...I haven't had a spray tan in south florida yet, but I went to a planet tan in sc, which has a stand up spray booth. They make you watch a video first and tell you the tricks of where to rub lotion before you tan so it doesn't look so fake. There are 3 levels of intensity, light, med. and dark. I would try light your first time....if all fails...windex gets the spray tan off, lol. Immediatly after, I pat myself down with a towel...(usually bring a light airy dress to put on, with no undergarments)..Then, I always go home, wash my hands and feet lightly, then rub lotion on my knees, elbows and hands..wait a few hours and bam, your tan !
