DH and I went to my 12 week ultrasound and NT scan today and it was amazingly beautiful and surreal. Baby looked amazing and was so active. Little arms and legs moving all over the place. Baby definitely looks like a baby now versus the U/S a month ago. I am so in awe of what are bodies are able to do and create.

How long was your scan appointment? They told me to plan on 2 hours, but I'm assuming that's because they have to look at 2 kids.
I have everything scheduled for right after we get back from vacation in about 2.5 weeks. I meet my OB first in the morning, and then I go to a perinatal clinic for the rest of it later in the day. So I guess in total I have to plan on at least 3 hours if you include the OB appt. At least I'll get to enjoy my trip first.
I am really eager to find out what we're having.

I was in awe of the miracle of life throughout my whole pregnancy. You just don't understand until it's happening to you, seriously! I loved my 12 week ultrasound as well, and just wait until the 20 week....you will be amazed how much has changed! It makes me miss being pregnant, but just a little bit!
