So we are launching a new product at work, and the label is the shape of WI filled with little icons of things WI is famous for / known for?i.e. Door County cherry trees, Lambeau Field, WI Dell's waterslides, MARS Cheese, Apostle Islands lighthouse? You get the point.
Any ideas of landmarks or activities or products that are uniquely WI that this label would be absolutely incomplete without? (We already have cheese!) I'd love to hear everyone's ideas, and when we get the label finished I'll post the final result!
Re: WI Landmarks?
Maple syrup is an awesome idea...
Brats are on the list already, so we're thinking alike!
Brewers logo I wish we could use, but obviously it's trademarked so we have to strike that one from the list...
MARS cheese castle is not trademarked, and the owner is all about free advertising on our label Any other landmarks like this that come to mind?
I'm a little barren up in the northern half of the state?need some more to fill it up!
Circus World
Badgers/UW
Capitol
For up north (in addition to the giant muskie), you could just do some pine trees and outdoorsy crap like whitetail deer, bears, etc.
LOL
The Circus Parade train maybe??
Ski hill- Wausau
Waterfalls- lots of northern WI, especially Mellen
Boating/ fishing
You laugh, but I'm totally serious: http://www.roadsideamerica.com/story/2244
I went there!! When I was like 10 and purposely fell during my water skiing lesson because I refused to go out in the of lake. All because of that damn muskie!
The website made me laugh even harder?Only in WI! And the picture of bigfoot is seriously disturbing! I will lobby for a giant fiberglass muskie?although I do not know how the artist will make it look like fiberglass!
lol
WI actually has a really surprising number of giant fiberglass animals (one of my favorites is the golden moose near Black River Falls) because there actually used to be a giant fiberglass animal factory in WI back in the day. I would totally have worked there.
