Last night I talked to a friend who I used to work with in '07, and we got together a few times a year since she left the company we worked for. She told me her marriage has been on the rocks the last 2 years, and asked her husband for a separation in November. He never really did anything so she left May 1st. I had no idea and I feel like I should have called her to hang out more often, then I might have known about it and been there for her earlier.
I found out about the separation through a rumor from my get together on Tuesday night with other old coworkers from the same company. I messaged her on FB and told her we needed to get together to talk about the rumors I was hearing. She texted me and asked what the rumors were about and then I just called her and we talked about it for a bit, and now we're getting together on Saturday for lunch.
2nd confession- DH has grown a mustache and i HATE IT. Like really HATE IT. Too scratchy and just does not look good on him!
April 2010 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination
My Confession:
I've started to actively look for a new job back in the USA. The politics here are driving me INSANE. The ONLY thing keeping me here is DH's son - (who hates me, btw) I don't want to take DH away from Germany because of his son (at least until he's 16 - that's a magic 'see ya' age we agreed upon early on).
With all the crap that's happening, I told DH I threw my name in the pot for 'one or two' slots that would be a big promotion back stateside and he said "well that would be a promotion so if you get it, we'll go". Yeah - but i've put in for 20 positions - 17 that are in the States - all promotions but definately more than "one or two". The question is ... if offered, would I take it...who knows.
DH Confession he made the other day: "I really kind of miss having a kid in the house...." WHAT.........THE..........F*&%^.......... This is the guy who is snip snipped - and now he's getting the kiddie bug? WTF! And he wasn't pulling my chain either girls - SERIOUSLY! what is up with that one... i'm still freaking out!!!!! Kids aren't really an option for us but he's even mentioned us basically adopting my teenage niece (goddaughter) and moving her in with us so he can go back to 'daddy-land'.........ey yi yi!

,p>Probably TMI: I love having sex while on my period (I don't have any bleeding or bloating like most girls, so it's not messy or anything), but feelings are just so much more intense, it is nuts!

A10 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination: San Francisco!
I have two...
#1. DH's Coworker/Friend has a pretty long commute to work so when he has to stay in town for court he always asks if he can crash at our house so he can get a couple more hours sleep. This wouldn't be a big deal except for they both work nights so he is crashing on our couch during the day, and when I am not working (like this whole summer) it gets annoying to have someone sleeping upstairs and someone sleeping downstairs on the couch....I can't do anything in my own house!! So so so so so so annoying!!
#2. There is a house on our culta-sac (sp?) that is going to auction this month and Dh has got it in his head that he really wants to buy it because he is convinced it will go for a really great price....and while that sounds nice, to fix it up and sell it or rent it, it's is just not at all a reasonable idea. We definitly can't get a loan...we just got a loan for OUR house in Dec. and his idea is to ask my parents to loan us the money and then flip the house in 2 months and pay them back with interest....Well I hate that idea, my parents would probably do it but I have already told him we are NOT asking!! To be completely honest I have no intrest in this house what so ever!! Why can't we just focus on what we already have and think about this kind of thing in a few years...this would just be too fast!!
I confess that I scrapped by knee playing VB last night and I'm taking it like a baby.
I confess that I'm starting to get baby fever....we'll see how long that lasts.
