How do you get rid of bamboo? We have a lush forest of bamboo along one side of our house, with who-knows-what living in there. We have been cutting it down periodically, in an attempt to keep it from taking over even more of the yard. Currently it's a strip about 2 feet deep and starts at the side of the house all the way to the back border, maybe 30 feet? I'm definitely scared of the heavy-duty, kill everything it touches sprays and chemicals that are recommended in my research.
Thanks!

Don't drink the water.

If you've already researched bamboo control, you know that there are about a million sites talking about it. I doubt anyone here has anything else to suggest; I'm only going to recommend the "scary" spray chemicals.
BTW, why are the chemicals scary?
