Blog Advice Please!
Hello Ladies!
My sister and friend have been bugging me to start a blog for awhile -- and I am finally up for it!! I think it will be fun - and a great way to keep our out-of-state family & friends in the loop.
Now that I WANT a blog, I have no idea how to really get started. I noticed a lot of you have your own blogs and I'm hoping for some advice.
I have the account set-up through blogger, but that's it.
What the heck do you say in your first post? An introduction? Or just start posting like the blog has always been there 
And I am super not-techhy (as you can tell by my lack of photos, tickers or anything else that requires "code") - so is it hard to put up photos, etc?
And last but not least - etiquette. Is there any unspoken etiquette that I need to know? Such as using content, photos or ideas from another site - do I just need to mention them?
Thanks in advance - I'm sure it's not hard, just wanted to hear some wise words from those who are more experienced!!!!

In my first post, I did a short intro and after that I started posting away. Blogger makes it fairly easy to post pictures.
If you use or reference something from another source, especially photos and ideas, you should always mention it. Provide a link or something that shows you're not trying to pass it off as your own. Browse through blogs so you can get an idea of what other people do when they reference someone else words or ideas.

this was my first blog post. nothing too fancy. lol
and this was when I changed my blog focus after only 10% of my posts were actually relevant to my original subject matter. again, not too fancy.

Sounds like I need to figure a bit of it out before I take to the blogs, but now I'm really excited to get started!
