My husband and I just moved here (Boise) from Washington and my mom, grandmother, and aunt want to come visit us in October. Since we've only been here about a month I have no idea what to tell the the weather will be like then. My mom, grandmother, aunt, and I are all from California so we're used to the hot weather (And love it!). But seeing as how we've spent so long in Washington I wanted to give them an idea of what to expect and what to pack.
Thanks!

Re: Weather
It's hard to tell with Idaho weather and it depends on when in October they're coming. If it's early Oct. then I'd say they'd be good with some summer clothes, moving into Fall (sweatshirts, pants, etc.). However, if it's later in October then it could be cold... Coats, boots. I remember it snowing on Halloween a couple times. I'd just kind of keep an eye on the weather a couple weeks before they come and that will give you a better idea of what to tell them.
