Well that was a close call!
I was driving past the jewelers today and, on a whim, decided to stop in to have my rings cleaned. The girl took them back to clean them, but came back right away and was like "the center stone of your e-ring is loose!"
Turns out that I am only 6 days away from the expiration of my 6-month check-up period. If I would have waited a week, I would have had to pay to have the ring repaired. And if anything had happened to the diamond (heaven forbid) after that time, I would have been screwed.
Now I don't even care that my friend stood me up this morning, because that is what caused me to be in the neighborhood of the jewelers, ha!
