Recommend your jeans!

I am in desperate need of some new jeans.  My problem is I am super short (5'0) and have pretty big thighs from all the running and elliptical training I do.  I have a waist size 12, but since all I can find are boot cut and skinny jeans, they are super tight on the thighs.  Any good jean recs?

Gap and lucky brand both have a curvy jean that is pretty much awesome. I would suggest starting there

I don't know where you live, but the Galleria has a "Buckle" store and there's a jean in that store for every body type.  It ranges from all brands.

I'm in Montgomery.  I hadn't thought about Buckle, but there is one in town.  I'll have to stop by and give them a try.

I've also heard that Buckle will hem any jean that you buy there for free or a small fee.  That is worth looking into.

That is a big plus.  I joke that Tang and I are on a first name basis, I visit her shop so often for alterations.

Yes!  Buckle is da bomb...lol!  Love that store b/c they are soooo helpful.  I love the Lucky jeans, but they are expensive so I usually get the BKE brand which is Buckle's version of the Lucky.  And, yes, they do hem!

I'm in the same boat with my thighs making it difficult to find a pair that fits, and since I've had good luck with Buckle jeans in the past, I went by there this weekend. I always opt for the BKE, as well, but they don't have any "plain Jane" jeans that would look professional, which is what I'm looking for. I saw some on Gap's site that I want to try on; hopefully they'll work out, because I'm really having a hard time with my search!

I worked at The Buckle for years....and I agree.....Lucky jeans are the best   They will also alter them for free!!  The Summit also has a Levi's store.  They have jeans to fit everyone.  They can also "build" the perfect jean for you.
