Mine is that I am so not looking forward to the IL's family picnic tomorrow now that MIL told me that SIL is jealous of our little man. How the hell can I help it if he's 6 months older then your kid...of course he can walk now and talk and crawl on furninture HE'S OLDER THEN YOUR KID, so stop comparing them to each other!!!
Ugh, that felt good to get that out!
VENT: 30 days into training and I've officially injured myself with the running. My knees ache sooooo bad that I had to leave work an hour early yesterday. And today I'm in so much pain. Nothing seems to be touching it.
2 days off from training and I already feel crappy, sluggish, and kinda sad.
Obviously have to give myself some time off from the work outs. I was all dressed and ready to head to Lifetime this morning to at least get some lower-impact stuff in, but the pain sent me right back into my house. I have to work tonight again too. BLAH.
DH and I are supposed to head out of town tomorrow morning for the weekend to start celebrating my birthday. Not sure how I'm going to walk around Red Wing!
CONFESSION: I met Miss America yesterday at work and she seemed like a total ditz and not at all what I thought Miss America would be like.

Evan James was born 1/24/13 and matched with us 2/20/13. The LOVE OF MY LIFE!!!
I confess that I don't really want to go to our H.S. reunion tomorrow. I thought Andy wanted to go, and he thought I wanted to go, so we made plans to drive up to St. Cloud and stay with my parents for the night.
Last night we were talking about it, and as it turns out, neither of us really wants to go, but now we already made the plans and agreed to get together with some old friends for dinner before the official reunion. It's too hard to back out now. My mom is so excited to have us and her "granddog" say with them this weekend.
I did enjoy our last reunion (I'm glad I went because I that's what got Andy and I together), but I'm just not excited about this one. I don't think many people are attending. And I learned after the last one that the only people I regularly talk to are the ones I was already in touch with before the reunion. Those are the only people I really care about, I don't need to "catch up" with people I'll never see or talk to again until the next reunion.

I LOVE my job! I love (most) of the people I work with are amazing, my bosses are wonderful people!
vent: i'm very upset at my employer for donating money to MN Forward, no matter what their real reasoning. as proof positive that some people think that target speaks on my behalf politically, i was harassed coming back from lunch today by some protesters outside. that's awesome. thanks to whoever made that bright decision.
AW: we leave for sturgis in 4 days! i cannot WAIT to have a few days off. : ) and additionally, we might be going back to aruba in september. flights are under $500 RT so i think we're going to celebrate our 2nd anniversary there!
confession: i'm sorta glad my girlfriend decided to trade in her husband's Jeep instead of us buying it. although i really wanted it, i was starting to get that feeling it was going to be a money pit and that had me stressed. this way, i didn't have to say i didn't want it afterall.
That's a great deal! We are planning to go back to Aruba in March with my parents, but tickets are ridiculously expensive right now.
Confession: Even though I got a Job (AW!) my drive is going to suck, and I'm a little sad that I don't have my own classroom for the fall (vent)
On the plus side, the team I'm going to be working with seems awesome.
I just finished my curriculum update purchase orders this afternoon, and I'm afraid I'm going to have to sweet talk the vendors into giving me discounts because they were meant for last year. Plus, I should have had these done a MONTH ago! slackass.
In other thrilling news, we are up to 40 items sold on eBay. I do love to get rid of stuff.
Two AWs:
1. Just finished up summer semester of school, which means my first year is over. Only one year left until my AA degree is complete and I can move on to my social work bachelor's. I've managed to maintain a 4.0 for the whole year!!!!
2. My company is sending me to Lake Tahoe in the middle of September for a software conference, and because H has an abundance of vacation time to use up at work, he's gonna tag along. It should be a nice little mini vaca.
Ummmm...that one above is mine, and I have no idea what that Id is or why I'm signed in that way.

Confession: I discovered I am not good with managing money. The bills get paid yes, but any left over money gets spent instead of paying extra on bills or saving much besides my automatic 403(b)
AW: I discovered where my downfalls were and I have taken necessary action to change them and my mindset and I am so excited about seeing my plan in action over the next month so I can show my DH I have it figured out.
I also finally have my "command center" I have been asking for for a year. I got a rolltop secretary desk from Dock 86 last weekend and it is PERFECT for my bills, laptop, printer, etc. that I keep upstairs because I do the bills at the kitchen table. Now we can eat there too because I have a place to put all of my paperwork away at.
Also, today we've been married 6 months and tomorrow is our one year anniversary of closing on our house.
