i'm sure nobody cares and you are probably sick of me but
in case someone does care
the doctor said, yep, strings are way too long, she said i leave them long at first because the IUD moves up into your uterus so i want to leave enough for that to happen so i have enough out to pull the IUD out eventually, but she said def too long as they were hanging way out, so she cut them for me and all is happy again, no more plastic poking me
