Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I did it!
I finally finished our foster/adopt application last night, ran to Kinko's this morning to make copies, and drove the app over to our local office.
Then I felt dumb.
I walked into this tiny office and had two people at their desks staring at me like I was in the wrong place. I asked if I was in the correct place and one of them confirmed it, I told them I needed to turn my foster parent application in.
*blank stares from both of them*
The guy finally said that it needs to go to their corporate office (where we did our orientation and training) but that they could send it for me. I almost asked for it back so I could drive it over there myself, the situation felt that awkward. Instead I mumbled that the trainer said we could drop it off at this office and that I could take it if it would be an inconvenience for them. The woman smiled and apologized, told me that they would get it over there and to wait for a phone call letting us know what to do next.
So, the application is in the hands of the agency and I'm hoping to hear something soon.
