I got a CD with an Adobe Reader flipbook on it. The first file on the flipbook is a powerpoint. The powerpoint is password protected, so I have to open it read only.
I am supposed to do a presentation at work from this powerpoint, but I won't have enough time to doe the WHOLE thing. I can't find a way to "hide" slides on PP 2007, and I can't seem to copy and paste slides into a new powerpoint either.
Are both those problems due to the password protection? I don't use powerpoint 2007 at work, so maybe all my problems are about the version I'm using and have nothing to do with the password protection.
Any advice or help you could offer?
Re: PP 2007 help needed
The primary purpose of making something read-only is that it can't be edited/modified. See:

So yes, it is likely that your problems are bc of the password protection. In PPT 2007 I right click a slide to "hide" just like I used to do in older versions of PPT. Since you can't copy either, I assume all of the actions you're normally capable of doing with a right click aren't possible.
