What kind of camera do you have? We're looking into getting a new one. Right now I just have a regular Sony cybershot digital camera. I just want a camera that will take better quality pictures. I've been looking at Nikon and Canon. Any advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated as we go on our search. Thank you!

I have a Canon Rebel, it's a DSLR not a point and shoot... not sure which you're thinking about getting?
Before I had the camera I have now I had a Canon Powershot (point and shoot). It was a good camera, and I still use it sometimes when I need to just throw it in my purse and go.
I've learned that "better quality" pictures come from learning how to use your camera properly and learning a few basics of photography - not necessarily the camera itself. Megapixels can only go so far, you know?
