While we were all at the street fair last night I noticed several groups of young teenage boys checking Amanda out......I'm so glad Mike didn't notice.  LOL  He's already scared.  Shes not even 12 yet but can pass for 14 easily.  Most of you saw the photos on FB.  And her birthday is coming up in 2 weeks and there's this boy named Sean in her class that lives a street over from us and she wants to invite him to her party.  He is going to freak out.  I told her to tell him about it - apparently she texts with this kid all the time.

Oh boy.  My niece is 15 now and the boys started around the same age for her (same as Amanda, she looks older than she is).  She just broke up with her third boyfriend!!! We liked this kid, but boyfriend #2 was a greasy long-haired loser, we couldn't stand him.

Hang in there, you guys could be in for a bumpy ride the next couple years. My previously very sweet niece was a total hormonal *** from hell between 12-14, but it's getting better every day now!

Unlike sweet Laurie, I was kind of nuts when I was a teenager so I am just praying I don't have a baby girl to ever worry about. I was kissing 8th graders when I was Amanda's age --- sorry!

Ha!! Yeah I was chasing SB around the room trying to hold his hand when I was in kindergarten!!! Ohhh god.....lol I know about the hormonal *** with the attitude. LOL Man was she ever pi$$y yesterday. I don't think she wanted to go to the pool - I think she wanted to sit in her PJs and horde the computer all day like she did the last time she spent the night!!

Yep, Amanda is going into 7th grade too. And boys are SO much easier. But it's still scary when they start getting the interest in S/O's. Amanda is a pretty kid - what made me nervous was at the last family party, BIL's ex-stepson kept tapping her on the shoudler and walking away. Hopefully this was a "sorta-cousinly" tap and not a flirt because the SOB is 25. Mike would love a reason - any reason - to beat the hell outta that kid.
