As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. 12vAC to 110v DC Car Converter for Laptop
I also posted this question on Money Matters so my apologies to those of you who are seeing this question twice.
We're looking to buy one of those converters that allow you to plug a normal electric plug into the car so we can use our laptop on long car trips. I have done some research and it's kind of confusing to me. The prices seem to range from $5 up to over $100, and it seems like you need a minimum wattage for larger items like laptops, but I don't want to buy more wattage than I need (and spend more money than I need to).
Does anyone have any experience with one of these? Any insight or recommendations would be greatly appreciated - thanks in advance!
