How did your makeup trial go this weekend?
I just txt my hairdresser to tell her we need to come up with something for my hair.
Its getting close! 60 days from today!

It was amazing! I love my lady, she did exactly what I wanted and my makeup was so great! I didn't realize how much actually came with her services, she totally shapped my eyebrows (hello saved me a trip to get them waxed! lol) and fake eyelashes that they looked awesome and she really made my eyes pop.
I seriously need to fine my usb cord for my camera so I can post pictures
I ended up having her do the air brush makeup and was so glad that I did, and my hair was great
I am so excited for the big day now hahaha i seem to say that after every little step along the way. 60 days! that is crazy, we have 75 an di can not believe that it is almost here.
How do you think you wnat your hair done?
Who did you go to for your makeup? I'm still trying to find someone.
I'm going to put extensions in it, then have soft waves or curls throughout. Wear it mostly down and pinned on the side with a flower or something. I don't have a pic to show, but its something I dreamed up the last time I got my hair done.
We just sent out our invites this last week. I can't tell you what a relief that was. Well a relief and a oh crap! moment or two. We forgot a few people and those are going out today/tomorrow.
My first bridal shower is in 2 weeks. I got a little freaked out because I realized I haven't had a party for me since I was a little girl having a birthday party.
What's going through your head lately? Any oh crap moments?
I'm curious who you were using as well... I feel like I need to start thinking about hair people. LOL
I was kind of kicking around the idea of extensions too... but I've never done them before, and I have no idea where to go or how to go about it. The prices seem a little bit crazy too when I was just kind of poking around a few places to check it out, so I'm not sure yet.
There are extensions that you can clip into your hair. Supposedly they are less expensive than the real deal. I haven't researched them much, but when I find out from my hairstylist I'll let you know for sure.
When are you getting married?

Yeah, I saw something about the clip ones, and that would be way more what I would be happy with... for price, and being able to take them out right after the wedding.
I have plenty of time really, my date is March 31st... but I'm a bit of a control freak when it comes to some things... so I want everything at least figured out as soon as possible, even if I can't do it right now. I need a game plan. LOL

Umm, my only ahh crap moment has been trying to figure out our song list. lol Oh we had a couple save the dates not get where they were supposed to so that stunk but luckily I had extra's so I just resent them

The music is so hard to figure out. We keep finding completely inappropriate songs. You know like Big Poppa or Regulators. Its so bad. But we also have our first dance, father daughter and entrance music figured out. We have a pretty awesome dj so we told him for cocktail hour we want blues, all different kinds of blues. Dinner Sinatra, Dean, Rat Pack type stuff with a little Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and Nina Simone. He said he'd find the music for us and for us not to worry. The only other thing we had to tell him was the Macarena was banned from the play list.
March does seem like a long time away, but the time comes quickly. Where are you having the wedding?
LOL the only song we banned iwth our DJ was the Chicken dance! FI's mom's bestie wants to come out in a huge yellow chicken costume for ti and i said no absoultly not! lol
Yea I want like kennyg, michale buble for dinner and I have a few ideas for our first dance but for the father daughter I have no clue... I know it hard to find appropriate music but there are certain songs that I just really want to dance to hahaha
Haha! That's funny. Who has a yellow chicken costume - or was she wanting to rent it? We actually have to do the chicken dance. My MOH's parents and I have a running thing with the chicken dance. And I have to make one of my old co-workers do it with me. He lost a bet with me a few years ago and had to do the chicken dance in front of the whole company standing on the conference table.
Do you have any ideas for the father/daughter? I'm doing What a Wonderful World Louis Armstrong version. Butterfly Kisses is amazing too.
She was going to rent it... i seriously had nightmares of this huge Chicken coming onto the dance floor hahahaha. and this lady is like 6 ft tall.
I like butterfly kisses, I wanted to my girl but my sister already did that I was kind of bummed because I always danced to that song with my dad when I was growing up but now it will just look like I am copying her you know what I mean. I think CJ was thinking of What a Wonderful World to dance with his mom.
Oh man! So I started looking at all kinds of music and am now in tears at my desk. Listened to Mama by Boyz to Men. WTH? A little emotional today I guess.
That's funny that she was going to rent it. Nick was thinking of totally dumb stuff to do during the wedding. He's special.
LOL I was like that on my way into work this morning, good thing i didn't put makeup today or i would have been looking a hot mess by the time i got here lol
Yea, CJ and his dad were shooting for a star wars theme or a western theme... not like cute western/country but like John Wayne Movie western hahahahaha

I already feel like time is flying by way too fast and there's so much left to figure out and do. It really doesn't help that FI is out of town so much, but it makes it interesting! We signed the contract this last weekend for Seville.
This is so ture, I think because when you pick your venue you envision what your wedding will be like so the rest is just finding the right people who can fulfill that vision. And I was super surprised on how easily everythng else kind of fell into place once we had our venue
