I am updating my playlist for the first time in over a year.  Help me!  Best cardio and running songs on your playlist, please!

  • boom, boom , pow- black eyed peas

the new work out plan- kanye west

Thats all I can think of off the top of my head.

  • I need to update mine as well, but I've recently added "All I Do Is Win" by DJ Khaled and "California Gurls" by Katy Perry to my running playlist.

I like "Tears Dry On Their Own" by Amy Winehouse, but I usually play that one if I'm on an elliptical either at the beginning to warm up or towards the end when I'm about to cool down.

You should definitely look at military cadences also. HTH!

  • Hm, it's been awhile since I listened to mine, but from what I can remember, I have Kelly Clarkson's "Walk Away," Carrie Underwood's "Flat on the Floor" and "Last Name," Britney Spears' "Gimme More" and "Piece of Me," along with some Kayne's "Stronger" and random pump up songs.
  • Thanks so much, ladies!  I'll give those songs a try.  Military cadences... I never thought of that!

I was introduced to cadences by my sister. They really do help you set A pace and if I'm alone I'll say them out loud to help with my breathing. Check out one by the Navy SEALS entitled "Sons of UDT".
