My hopes are high re: apartments right now . . .
and I'm worried I'm going to get disappointed. *frets*
So today we saw a GREAT place: a WHOLE HOUSE with a garage! NO neighbors above or below! It was completely renovated this last year, so the kitchen is fabulous, the bathrooms(!!! There's TWO) are nice and it's wired for internet, etc. It's on a lovely quiet street and has a HUGE roof deck. It's currently priced 500?/month over our budget but our agent thinks we can get it for 100? over, which my H could swing with the company, I think.
So. Please to cross fingers for me? I really, really want this place. Our back-up option (in the building right next door to the one we're living in now) is a good choice, but this one was really quite perfect.

It's in the Jordaan and I'm having a brain fart as to the street name all of a sudden. No yard, but since we don't have dogs/kids, it's not that big of a deal.

Our living room/kitchen is up one floor from our main entrance, and our bedroom/bathroom is up one floor from that. My butt is not nice. Stupid Dutch stairs must be defective.
Any word on when you hear about apartment?!?!!?
