Hi girls!
I know most of you have seen my pictures on facebook from our honeymoon, but I wanted to stop back in and say hello!
Everything was absolutely amazing, and I think I cried when we left haha. I'm slowly doing a day by day trip report in my syruper's blog if anyone is interested.
Right now, things are crazy. We're trying to figure out where all of our stuff is going in this tiny apartment, and DH is leaving tmrw for a back packing trip in colorado with his brothers.
How's everyone else doing?

I read about all of your weddings! nuts! My friend is getting married in October (just started planning about a month ago), so she's asking a lot of questions haha..but i'm so pumped for her! She's the only one of our friends besides me to be getting married so far.
DH will be gone for 12 days! thats a whole lot of guy time haha they're even ending it with a "warrior dash" where they do all of these obstacles in a race, and finish by jumping though a ring of fire.

My husband is doing the warrior dash here in NY in Sept. I was going to go and cheer him on but now that I'm pg I have no desire to be surrounded by a bunch of drunk people when I have to be sober lol
jumping through a ring of fire?? sounds...interesting?!! that is an adrenaline rush i will never encounter myself, and i marvel at those that have it!! craziness!! i want to see pictures!!!
yeah, it is a lot of weddings. they weren't all planning such dates when they asked me to be in their weddings. one was planning 2011, another was thinking spring/summer 2010. only one thought of fall 2010 and stuck with it. how they managed to do consecutive weeks, i'll never know. heck, at this point i'm surprised they didn't pick the same dates. i'll tell you what though, if i hear "you shouldn't have agreed to be in the weddings if you didn't have the money" one more time, i seriously might scream. i get that it's my problem and my fault. but had i known they were going to be consecutive weeks, i might have thought otherwise about being in them. one wedding is expensive enough. i have no idea how we are going to make it work. we just figure we will somehow and move forward. i'm excited to go to to the weddings though! i focus on that!
I'm a sucker for weddings, and I always get so excited to go to them!
Again, maybe it's because not many of my friends are getting married yet, but I just love eating, drinking and dancing! haha
I always tell DH that I never worried about the statement "always the bridesmaid, never the bride" because I knew I would get married to him...I'm more concerned that I'll never be a bridesmaid..I'm worried I don't have girl friends close enough to want me to be there for them. we'll see though!
these 3 brides are the only people close enough to me to want me to be a part of their day, and one of them is my sister! the only other wedding i would be in would be my other sister. so despite the fact that it's difficult to be in 3 weddings at the same time, i'm really just getting them all done at once! there won't be any more to worry about. and that's ok with me!

I know how you feel, I have only a few truly close girlfriends, and even then I don't know if I'd ever be asked to be a bridesmaid. Time will tell! In the meantime, like you said, eat, drink, and be merry

I took a look at the blog. Looks like you guys had a great time! Everything on this end has been going pretty good. DH was hired at a great company yesterday in an amazing position. I'm going back to school the week after next and my courseload for teaching just picked up so everything is busy but good
Aside from that we're really looking forward to our NY trip at the end of this month/beginning of next month! A much needed vacation.
