Am I the only one that is soooooo excited about the holiday's this year? I just can't wait for fall (even though we really don't have one here) and all that comes along with it. I just really want to craft up a storm of autumn colors and turkey's and x-mass trees and snowflakes! OOOO and jack-o-lanterns!!!
Re: Holiday's
I am so excited too! I was just saying last night that I cannot wait until October 1st so I can decorate for Halloween. I LOVE the holidays and am super excited to share my excitement with our son and create some traditions/memories.
I completely LOVE all things fall/halloween related, so I am super pumped, especially since our little guy will be here by then! Yes, I already have a costume for him... it's a black cat. Mike and I actually have a cat, Belle, who is all black, so we joke that we're going to dress Ryan up like Belle and dress Belle up like Ryan.
That is too cute... I love the little babies in costumes... At first I was thinking we were going to miss the trick or treaters but we will be back form our honeymoon by then YAY!!!! so cute... last year we had a luigi riding yoshi! it was awesome!
I am so glad I am not the only one... I LIVE for this time of year.... I have been on Michales.com all morning finding new things to make and different ways to decorate for the holiday's
I'm excited, it'll be the first holiday season that we are in a house, and we'll be able to go all out with the decorating (it just isn't the same in an apartment).
I'm REALLY looking forward to the two weeks of fall weather, it makes me think of CT. And of course Black Friday and allllllllllllllllll the baking and cooking!
Can't wait to meet my baby boy!
I have been wanting to bake pumpkin bread for weeks now!!!! hahaha I am almost trying to decide on buying a ton of flour again just so that I can bake like crazy!
I LOVE the fall/winter. The weather is awesome, and there's so much baking for the holidays...plus DHs parents and sister are coming down for the week of Thanksgiving. A lot to look forward to...
Unfortunately, I'm kind of depressed going in to this season this year. I'm going to be spending the next 4 months in a whirlwind of studying for the CPA. I'm heIIbent on finishing all four parts before DHs family gets here so I can actually enjoy the holidays. But it's a lofty goal and I'm worried I'll end up pushing one exam to January and get stuck studying throughout...
I'm sad.

It does seem that most years they have the stuff out soooooo early and most of it is gone by the time the actual holiday is here but for some reason I can't wait this year hahaha. I think because we will be married and I will be hosting Turkey Day (fingers crossed my mom agrees) haha and I have just always love Christmas, the meaning, the family time, the decorations, the baking all of it for all the holiday's just get's me all in a joyful tizzy! hahaha
I'm not so excited... holidays for us means a huge trip that involves way too much time sitting in airports and lugging bags around. Last year we went to Ohio for Christmas, New York for New Years. It's kind of nice to see both of our families, but it's also a crazy stressful trip all around.
yeah and it sucks that all the good stuff is already gone but the time it's Christmas. It is even better when you are married, I totally agree with you there. It was great for DH and I last year because we were Husband and Wife, so it was even more special.
Have fun hosting Thanksgiving, not sure when it will be my turn.

While I love the holidays, I am with Vanessa that I hate hate hate seeing Christmas stuff out in the same row at the store with Halloween candy... Really???? Hello... and I also say respect the freeking turkey...
But I do LOVE me some Halloween! It is my favorite holiday of the year!
YES! This holiday always gets skipped. I love it, it's the best! Plus, it's around my Birthday, sooo yeah I love it.

You might want to steer clear of Costco then.... I was there last Thursday and the x-mas stuff is right next to the Halloween display.
Can't wait to meet my baby boy!
Hahahahaha!! Seriously?? Man... it's only August..
Thanksgiving's my favorite holiday, so I hate when people skip it!! And Halloween's my hubby's fav, so we have a bunch of fun with it! Yay, and the past 2 Halloween's he's been playing (in a band) that weekend, so this year he's finally NOT and we can hit up some party or whatnot. Woot!
I definitely get ya there Tay! Last fall-time was our first string of holidays in our new house and it was sooo fun to have a whole house to decorate instead of a tiny apartment with only a door outside to put decorations on! Chuck got REALLY into it too, and became like those dads on the X-mas movies, trying to perfect the outside stuff. He was so proud of himself! It was the cutest!
