I'm a Minnesota Nestie and hoping to make some connections and get some advice from my fellow Nesties in Chicago. My boyfriend and I have decided that relocating to Chicago is the next step for us. We're both hitting the job search hard. He's a contract lawyer and I work in Events and Marketing, looking in either the nonprofit or corporate world at this point.
We're hoping to live somewhere in the downtown area - and shooting for Spring as a move time, given that at least one of us gets a job by then.
Any advice would be fantastic for moving - apartment brokers, etc.? Also, if you have any connections who might be willing to do an informational interview in Marketing, Events or Nonprofit Development, I'd love it if you'd email me marcympls@gmail.com.
Thanks in advance, ladies. I look forward to getting to know you all better as I transition to being a Chicagoan.
