Moving from Miami, FL to California..need some help
Hey Ladies,
Im relocating from Miami, FL to Valencia, CA come December with my best friend and need some help. We are looking in the Valencia area because i like the tranquality there.
If you ladies know if any job sites that I can look at so I can get my job search going that will be great. My best friend already is over there and he cant seem to land a job. He has tried craigslist and all but no bites on his resume. Any info or if you know if anyone that might be hiring that will be great. Im not moving till December but he is already there and just trying to set things up for us. Thanks ladies!!

What type of job/industry are you looking for?
I live in the Santa Clarita Valley and love it. There are a ton of jobs here, but it is hard unless you know what you want to get into.
I used to work at a company in Northridge, which is about a 20-30 minute commute (depending on traffic). It was a great company and I know they have a lot of openings. They make insulin pumps for diabetics and have pretty good benefits.
You can look at their website: www.medtronic.com and look at the Northridge location.
What kind of work are you looking into?
Valencia/Santa Clarita are "bedroom communities" - they do not have a great jobs-housing ratio. ?You may need to look in other cities to find work, and be prepared to commute. ?There is some public transportation (trains, subways), but much of the commute in So. Cal is sitting in traffic. ?
Best of luck in your move and your job search!?
