should i call?
i told you guys a couple of months ago that i had a mole that scabbed and was itching, and you told me to quit being a fool and see a dermatologist. i called tiffany5412's favorite dermatologist and the soonest they could see me was last week. so i finally had my appointment on tuesday. the mole in question turned out to be nothing - in fact, it's a weird kind of scar! no need to be alarmed. BUT. they found a mole behind my ear, that i didn't even know i had, that concerned them. they said "it could be a really dark mole, or a blood vessel, or melanoma." sooo they biopsied it. gone. told me they'd call with the results within a week. i've tried not to worry about it. i feel fine.
it's been a week.
the paper they gave me that lists the instructions for caring for the biopsy site says "results are usually revealed within ten days. if you don't hear from our office within ten days, give us a call."
so do i call now? because they told me one week? or follow the paper and wait until friday?
*drums fingers*
