Have you ever seen an I-Bert bike seat?  Not quite as cool, but it the concept is similar and it's only $100.

True. I forget that not everybody lives in the land of zero public transportation. Plus, there are a good four months out of the year when it would absolutely be too hot to attempt any travel by bike.

But I still feel the need to own one.

Nov, how far north in NJ are you?  There are lots of awesome places to bike not too far from me (Central/Middlesex).  Not that I'd pay that money for what's likely to be less than a year's worth of use, though.
