Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

More Foster Questions... :o/ (also posted on LGBT board)
How long after turning in your foster parent app did it take to get a call back? How long until your first home inspection? How long until your first placement?
We were told that it should take about 1 1/2 months to complete licensing and another 2-4 weeks to get a placement, just wondering if this is a normal timeline.

We turned in our app before we even finished our classes. We got a call about a week after we mailed it, had our inspection a week or two later and were licensed on the spot.
We actually got two calls before our girls came to us. The first one came about a month or so after we were licensed but we had to say no. The second call came right after that. We said yes, but there was a mix-up and that baby went to another family :-( Our girls came to us about 2.5 months after we were licensed.
