I was just wondering who you use for daycare and if you like them. We are going to be moving back to the Lansing area within the next couple months and I am searching for a daycare for Karstyn.
Thanks!
Re: **Ellen**
We use Sparrow/Childtime. It is on the corner of Pennsylvania and Jerome right by Sparrow hospital. I love it there! Emma is always happy to be there and they even have a curriculum for the babies.
I liked it mostly because it was comfortable when I visited. It didn't feel like I was walking into a daycare facility. The classrooms are clean, the teachers are nice, and I like that there are plenty of toys/activities going on to entertain the children and babies.
It is a little pricier......229/week for full time. I think sparrow employees get a discount.
When I was looking for daycare, I also toured Rainbow and Kindercare. They were cheaper than childtime, but I just felt more at home at childtime and felt they had a bit more to offer.
WOW $229/wk!! I guess I am spoiled right now cause I am only working part time and a friend is watching Karstyn. I only pay $60/wk right now!
Thanks for the info, I am going to look into all three. Emma and Karstyn could be best buddies if we decide on childtime since they are the same age!!
Yeah, 229 is a lot but I feel very comfortable with them and they have a great program for all ages, so I feel it is worth the $$.
Another issue I had with the others is the grammar used when speaking. Those people would NOT be teaching my child to speak proper English if they couldn't use it themselves.
Good luck in your search!
