RP: Very Sad Situation. Prayers Please!!!
I don't usually post sad things like this, but I need prayers for my little cousin and his family.
It all started with a bike ride. He fell off his bike and bit his lip. My cousin called the doctor, and he told her to watch for a concussion and clean his lip. She did what the doctor ordered. Everything seemed fine. On Sat. evening he spiked a very high fever. My cousin called her husband and told him she was taking him to the emergency room. During the time she checked his temp and got him to the hospital, he threw up 17 times. His face started swelling in the ambulance and his throat closed up. They put a trache in and he headed for surgery. During surgery the doctors found he had flesh eating disease in his mouth. They had to remove 20% of his lip and part of his jaw. The flesh eating bacteria has spread rapidly and my little 5 year old cousin is fighting for his life. He is in a slight-induced coma and the doctors said if the disease spreads to his brain...he will either die or be a vegtable. They are currently waiting for a hyperbaric chamber from Frodert hospital.
As a parent, I cannot imagine the heartbreak my cousin and his wife are going through. They brought their 6 year old sister into the hospital to visit her little brother today. I just cannot wrap the situation around my mind. Something so small (a cut in his lip) turns into something so deadly.
So please if you have read all of this so far, please could you pray for Seth and his family. He needs all the prayers he could get right now.

What a horrible story, I cannot imagine what his parents and the rest of your family is going through.
