Can't tell if our town has paper recycling?
We just got married and moved to a new town, and I don't think we have paper recycling . . . our apartment complex (and all those in the area) have a dumpster for comingled recycling, and a dumpster for trash. The trash dumpster says ___'s Waste Management and Recycling. Does this mean it's sorted our later? It breaks my heart to throw away all the cardboard boxes we used in moving . . .

Apartment complexes in my town don't have recycling (there is a dumpster) even though my town has a really good recycling program. I live in a house and we do have 2 reclycling bins. The town has sites where you can recycle unlimited amount of paper, glass, yard waste.... Visit you city's website to know more about what is offered.
I also agree about your boxes being reused by someone else. A lot of people are looking for them.
