Amy Poehler is obviously pregnant...I did not know until I saw her on TV. I would guess 7-8 months.
Micheal Phelps was the host and he did pretty good...too bad the writers were lame. This skit was the best thing on the episode. I grimaced through the rest of the episode waiting for something funny to happen...nothin!

I agree. SNL writing is darn bad...but this skit was funny. I havent really liked SNL since Will Ferrell left. Downhill decline since, and even great hosts havent been able to save episodes due to poor writing. I have been watching Mad TV more if I am watching tv around that hour. They have some great skits. A really funny parody of SYTYCD this past Saturday.
I didnt think Phelps should have been asked to host due to fact he doesnt have a lick of acting skills and it was indeed awkward to see that on the program. Skits didnt flow as they should have. I am sure HE even felt awkward doing the gig.
I watched SNL last week and I realized why I stopped watching the show -- it stinks! (and I kow one of the writers!)
The only funny bit was Tina doing Palin. Yes, I knew she would be perfect too! Obama was going to be on last week, but because of hurricane Ike he decided it wasn't in good taste to be on TV when people were flooded and homes were destroyed.
I also know a friend who writes for Mad Tv, but I have never watched it. (I am a horrible friend! The show just has never interested me)
