Hi Ladies!

I've been a member on the MA board for a while now, but figured I would check out the NH one and say hello! I live in northern MA, but spent more time in NH than in MA! We also are hoping to buy a house in NH in the next few years so I figured I would say hello and introduce myself! I hope everyone is having a good day! :)

Re: Hi Ladies!

  • /waves from over the border/ Welcome!  We have almost no chat traffic on the NH board, tho a few are trying to pump some life into it.

Good to see those Pats jerseys in your siggie.  Do you go to any games? I prefer to watch at home so I can shout at the tv then walk out of the room as I need to. A friend of ours shares season tix and I get to go about once every other year (which is enough for me.)

  • This board is so quiet compared to MA!

My FI & I are big Pats fans. I prefer to watch games at home as well. My brother has season tickets... I've been to a million games included a few playoffs. It's expensive to go and a drive! Between tickets, parking, tailgating, beers in the stadium.... its a production! I love watching the games from my couch! :)

  • Yes, going to the game is a whole day commitment between tailgating and traffic and leaving the game and the drive back to NH.  And the Pat's have been scheduled a lot of late games (premier TV rating slots) in the last few years which can be hard on a fan that has to get up and go to work the next day. My buddy seems to always call for a Monday night game -- um, I can't be getting home at 2am, sorry.

  • Oh I hear ya! If I do go to a game, I have to take the next day off!!

I'd rather be at Fenway any day though!  :)

     Where in NH are you?

  • I live in the greater Manchester area, very convenient to many things. It's a quick trip to the major shopping areas in Salem & Nashua and still only an hour to the beach/Portsmouth.

  • That is a great area to live in in NH. We actually used to live in Salem until April and we moved back down to MA. I work in Woburn, MA so I wanted a better commute, while we are renting at least!

My parents have a cottage up in Alton, NH which is where we spend most of our time in the summer when we are not working. I would like to move to Southern NH though when we finally buy a house. I like Derry & Londonderry, and Pelham.

There is just something about NH that is so much more laid back than MA... and I love it! :)

  • Hi !

Glad to have you join Team NH Nesties ! Ya, we are a bit dead on this board but we are working on itSmile

I live on the out skirts of the seacoast closer to Chester and Derry. My H and I just got married a few months ago but have been together for about 10 years.....no kiddos yet. We hope to buy our first home sometime in the fall.

Again thanks saying hi ! And Welcome

  • I'll play!  I haven't been to this board in ages because nothing is ever going on.  DH and I live in the Manchester area as well, though now that we're looking to buy I'm not sure if we'll stay.  My family lives in Portland (I grew up there) and we're considering moving to the seacoast area.  We both went to UNH and liked that part of the state as well.  We got married in Oct '08, just had our little one this past May, and are also "parents" to our adopted rabbit Busterina.  She has been with us about a year and a half now.
