I installed Windows 7 on my laptop a few months ago. It is only about a year old. Ever since then I often have problems where the picture on the screen appears to be shaking. Sometimes so bad I have to power off and restart. I'm not very computer literate so I'm clueless. Somebody said maybe my video card in not supported with 7. Any suggestions how I could fix my problem or what the problem may even be? Has anyone had this same issue?
Re: ? about Windows 7
There are a lot of posts about this online. See:

You probably need to update a driver and/or the BIOS. Did you run the compatibility check before you installed Windows 7? If not, you probably missed being informed that your drivers weren't compatible/updated.
It sounds like the video driver you have installed is for XP and not 7.
What you need to do is go to the manufacturer's website, search the make/model of your video card, and install the appropriate driver for W7.
The computer manufacturer's tech support should be able to help you. If you send me the specs I'll try to help.
