Bad usually turns to good for me on Friday the 13th. Tradition has kept up so far. Mike gave me a check for the mortgage and I guess it blew out of my hand when I was getting in the car (my fault for not putting it in my purse). He just happened to turn around and run back home and saw it in the neighbor's front yard. He picked it up and met me by my work to deposit it.
Then, I came into work and it was super hot too. It's starting to cool off now.
Haha, well as tradition goes...When I was 16, I had an accident in my 5 day old car (a green Cougar) on my way to a football game whom the mascot was the Green Cougars and it was a full moon. It was meant to be lol. I just happened to be on my first date with a senior...what luck I have, huh?
Then one of the following Friday the 13ths, my aunt and I were shopping and literally EVERYTHING we touched broke! Hangers, racks of glass, etc. We evenutally just left in a hurry because it was horrible! And we didn't want to pay for anything they held us for responsible for, teehee.
And now I can't say anything bad about Friday the 13th because I met DH on a Friday the 13th. And I wouldn't change it for the world!
But our landlord did have an appraiser out to our house at 11am, so I got up at 7:30 and cleaned until he got here, and he left 20 minutes later. LAME!

DH was flying across the country today which made me quite nervous but he made it, hooray!
Nothing bad has happened yet, and after work I'm just picking up sushi and wine for myself and staying home so hopefully the day will remain happy (though lonely, blahhh)
