Amy's Organic Frozen Meals
There was a post about these last week. I found some in Target Friday night and bought two. OMG they are GOOD. I had one enchilada bowl and one that was an Indian dish. The Indian one had creamed spinach and I thought I would hate it. It was delicious and so filling. I'm switching from my Lean Cuisines that always leave me hungry.
Thanks ladies!
Re: Amy's Organic Frozen Meals
YW!!! I *love* their enchilada bowls!!! Try the mexican casserole, it's amazing!
I haven't had the testicular fortitude (hahaa) to try any of the indian dishes yet, but now I need to!
in terms of frozen meals, they're higher cal/fat than LC's, but they are all natural so there are no MSG's, GHO's, or artificial flavoring... because of that, all of the ingredients they use are really easy to read on the back of the package and it's really straight forward. I think they would be a good option for you if they have some that don't have garlic!
here is info from amy's webpage about allergies: http://www.amyskitchen.com/special_diets/allergies.php
hmm. sounds yummy. I will definitely have to keep my eye out for those!
I'm going to have to check those out next time I go to the store. I always eat smart ones or lean cuisine but I'm almost never satisfied.
love them!
and their soups and beans are good too! yuuum!
I'll check them out. I'm usually ok w/the LC but I take a 100 cal snack for my dessert. I'll look at her ingredients as I couldn't find it on the website.
I'm trying to watch what I eat so if its higher in cal/fat/carbs then eh, but if it has no garlic and higher fiber/protein that might be good!!!
Thanks!!!
