Here is mine for today:
I can't stand when people say "Oh, it runs in my family" when it is clearly not genetic. Like alcoholism or twins. These do not happen to be genetic. Alcoholism is a choice. You choose to drink that much all the time. Just because your grandma's cousin twice removed does it to does not mean it runs in your family.
The twin thing....I can not find any scientific material saying that there is actually a genetic reason that a women release 2 eggs or they might split. My mom had twins but no one else in my family has. I think it's just luck of the draw for releasing more than 1 egg or that egg happens to split.
I will get off my soapbox now.
Re: FFFC!
DH and I have had serious drama this week. He is totally heartbroken and I am mostly p!ssed that I have to pick up the pieces because SOME PEOPLE can not LISTEN and do what others ask of them. Also, SOME PEOPLE need to learn to be loyal to their kids FIRST and outsiders SECOND. Also, I understand as a parent you have to teach a kid to walk, and talk, and read, and suck out of a straw, but does NOT mean when your kid is 28 and financially independent that you need to contact stick your nose in their business and their lives and marriages difficult because you are a CONTROL FREAK.
That about sums it up, I think.
Uhhh...yeah! I've been spending most of my day looking at people of walmart, bump/nest post secret and failbook.com. That's how slow it is here today. Come on 5!!
I'm very, very excited that our assistant principal has started what she is calling "Triple H." It's the name of our school, and Happy Hour. She wants to make it a regular Friday event. I

Do you ever go months without spending time with someone, and then see them again and only then realize how much you appreciate having them in your life? I realized that today with some teacher friends.
And to Jamie--not only should you give side-eye to your friend, the doctor should be getting SERIOUS side-eye.
All of that stuff would bother me too.
My aunt does this at her school! Twice a week! Only, they call it "Band Practice".
