I'm back!!

Hey guys I'm back from vacation the week went by so fast but I feel completly relaxed and rejuvinated : ) Getting back into the groove of things at work is hard though, I did not want to wake up this morning. Whats the longest break you took from work and was it hard to get back into the swing of things when you got back?

Hmmm the longest I was out of work was a week and two days, for the wedding.

We got married on a Friday, so I took Thurs. off to prep, and we honeymooned Saturday-Friday.  And we moved into our apartment the Friday we got home from the honeymoon.  Needless to say, that was the most exhausting ten days of our lives, and it sucked waking up Monday morning.

Lucky!! I can't wait to be a stay at home mom I have some time though

I took 8 weeks of FMLA leave for my knee. (I should have taken all 12!). It was SO hard to get back on a schedule and get accustomed with making myself comfortable (I had major knee surgery) in my office and not being on my schedule. Mostly I missed not being home and being on my time to meet up with friends for lunch, nap, ice/elevate my knee as needed. Everyone said I came back much more sensitive and kind- being away for that long broke down my boss b!tchiness . I do miss being home and being paid for it (short term disability is awesome!)

Mine was about a week, 1. When I left one job to go to another and 2. A week off for vacation.

I hated to come back to work but I got back into things right away.

We took a week off of work for my bday Saturday. We stayed the night at the biltmore sunday and spent the day there monday in the pool and it has a slide it was awesome. Then Tuesday we went to the raddison at fort mcdowell casino got massages it was my first hot stone massage and it was amazing. Then wednesday spent the day at the resort pool and there was no one there but us it was nice! Wednesday we hit the casino and then went home and did laundry and watched season 1 of grey's anatomy which I love by the way!!!

Yah it was really nice its our last vacation of the year since school is starting so we made it a good one : )

I was off for 2 weeks when we got married.  A week before, and then the week after for the honeymoon.  But when we moved here, I was out of work for a little over a month.   I don't really count that though, as it's not like I had work piling up for me while I was out.
