how would you spend a weekend in Mystic?

I'm taking DH to Mystic for our 5th anniversary weekend.  We've never been there and I don't' know much about it but it sounded like nice getaway place for a weekend trip. And, it's a relatively easy drive from NJ.  I'd appreciate any suggestions for things we should do, places we should eat while we are there.

 If you only had one weekend there.. how would you spend it?

I'd go to the aquarium, walk around Mystic Village and all the little shops and I'd look into one of the sailboat tours.

 For meals I'd think about:

-Anthony J's (Italian, rustic, cozy)

-Bravo Bravo (also Italian - a little more sophisticated)

-Daniel Packer Inn

- Azu for cocktails

-Lots of shopping on the main street near the drawbridge

-Lunch or Dinner at Abbots or across the water in Stonington at Skippers. (If you're at Abbots get the hot lobster roll.  It's a great value)

-A short drive to Stonington Borough (Sunday brunch at Noah's?)

-If you're interested in a little gambling, Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun (with a variety of restaurants in there)

That's all I can think of right now but I'll post more if anything comes to mind before I pass out  for the night.

Have lunch at Mytic Pizza where the movie was filmed with Julia Roberts! You'll do a lot of walking around, looking at shops, Mystic Seaport, Aquarium, nice restaurants...if warm out still, go on a boat ride, they have a cute little movie theatre, near the casinos (which are great!) Very romantic, qaint town.  Happy Anniversary!
