I see your guy was born at 35 weeks, 5 days.  Mine was 34 weeks, 6 days.  I saw the advice you gave at being ready with pads and a bag packed and I can't agree more.  My water broke in the (very) early morning.  I had no bag packed and ended up taking a pair of socks, three pairs of thong underwear, a camisole and my robe to the hospital.  When it was time to go home I thought I would die at the underwear options I had for myself.  Not my finest hour!!!

Next time I pack the bag early!!!

  • My DH started to pack my bag and was packing everything wrong so I started to do it and he got mad. I ended up with Christmas flannel pajamas pants (no fun because I had a c-section) and striped tank tops! Super hot! I thought I was so on top of things too! I had just called to make my car seat check appt and made plans with my sister to go to Target to put my hospital bag together. Everyone said to start preparing at 36 weeks. Nobody told me he could come early! Next time I'm going to be ready at 33 weeks. Maybe earlier!

  • You said it!!  I'm not pregnant yet but I think I might pack my  bag... just in case!!  What a nightmare.  I was sure he'd come late and we'd have to drag him out.  Apparently not!!
  • Ok, I am SO packing today.
